Rinpoche visited Belgium for the first time in June 2014.
Rinpoche was invited to accompany the ceremony, prayers and blessings of the exhibition with monk Lobsang Nyima
"Relics of Buddhist Masters" of the Maitreya Loving Kindness Tour in Ghent.
Tulku Choekyi Nangpa Rinpoche accepted the invitation to teach regularly in Belgium.
This was the impetus for establishing the Jonang Kalachakra Center Belgium in June 2014.
The purpose of the center is the same as Rinpoche's personal goal, to help people through Buddhist doctrine to awaken happiness in their being and thus make world peace possible.
